A distinct feature of the START program is the opportunity for students to earn line-level Hospitality Skills Certification from the Educational Institute. Students who successfully complete the START curriculum will receive a voucher waiving the fees for a Hospitality Skills Certification in one (1) of the twelve (12) areas covered in the START curriculum. They can redeem their voucher after they have completed 90 days on the job, which qualifies them for this first step on the hospitality career ladder.

Professional certification for line-level workers validates employee competencies and provides recognition for a job well done. It also shows employers that an employee takes his or her job seriously and is a strong asset to the company.
