Description:
Widener University is located on a suburban campus seven miles from the Philadelphia Airport with easy access to I-95.
Academic Credits/CEU's:
4 CEUs and Act 48 credit for PA teachers
Travel Directions: Widener University School of Hospitality Management is located off of exit 6 of I-95 in Chester, PA. The program will be held in the Academic Center North building on 17th Street in the center of campus.
By Air: Arrive at Philadelphia International Airport. The host hotel, Best Western Widener Hotel & Suites has an airport shuttle service. Taxi service to the hotel is available. The hotel is on the campus within walking distance to the classroom building housing the Institute.
By Car: The hotel and the university campus are adjacent to I-95 near the intersection of I-476 and I-95.
Directions From I-95 South of Philadelphia. Heading north towards Philadelphia Int'l Airport, follow I-95 North to Exit 9A. continue to light. Turn left at light onto Route 291 East. Go to 5th light and turn right.
Directions From Valley Forge: Take Route 76 East to Route 476 South. Take Route 476 South for approx 20 miles to Route 95 North. Follow directions from B.
Housing: Reservations should be made by contacting the hotel at 610-872-8100. The hotel web site is www.BWWidenerHotel.com. Ask for theCHI room block. The special rate will be $99.00 for a single and $109 for a double plus 8% tax. The hotel address is 1450 Providence Avenue. The hotel will accept purchase orders from high schools.

Field Trip: Professional Dress on Tuesday for job shadowing and Wednesday evening for dinner.
Shoes: Comfortable walking shoes for Tuesday
